It is about 2 miles South of Newcastle West which is reached by the N21 from Tralee (37 miles) or Limerick (25 miles).
The company was founded more than 30 years ago by William Harnett whose family have lived in the area for many generations.
William's passion for furniture is a by-word. As a young man he became fascinated by the structure, style, shape, form, texture of antique furniture - a passion that has not diminished with the passing years.
In his Ballyquirke Showroom you will find a wonderful display of furniture:
Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Edwardian - rare pieces - and pieces which are less rare (a fact that consoles the hard-up buyer who may want a beautiful item, but can't afford a beautiful but rare piece).
William's Antique business is unique in that his workshops are located on the same site as the showroom, so that customers may browse through the perfectly finished items in the showroom - but can also find something in need of TLC so that William can undertake (if the client wishes) to restore the piece.
